Ross Bleckner

Ross Bleckner is an internationally renowned American artist known for his emotional, symbolic and visionary painting. A prominent figure in the New York art scene since the 1980s, his research focuses on memory, loss, light and transformation, often explored through floral forms, cells, flashes and reflections.

His evocative and fluid painting moves between abstraction and figuration, the visible and the invisible, creating surfaces that appear to vibrate and breathe like inner visions. In 1995, Bleckner became the youngest artist to be given a solo exhibition at the Guggenheim Museum in New York. His works are held in the collections of major museums around the world.

Instead, they appear as emotional presences emerging from a dark and undefined background.
