Giuseppe Gallo is one of the most representative Italian artists of the post-Transavanguardia generation. After studying in Rome, he developed an artistic language that blends archaic signs with contemporary codes, geometries with a personal alphabet, drawing on a visionary and philosophical dimension. In "Mare di Specchi", Giuseppe Gallo composes a symbolic expanse in which every sign seems to float in a mental and sensory space. The coloured lines, almost like organic filaments or primitive writing, run across a light surface that evokes sand, paper, or an ideal skin.
