Pierluigi Pusole is one of the most visionary and consistent Italian artists of his generation. Active since the 1980s, he has moved across styles and movements while always maintaining a personal signature, grounded in painting as an absolute language. His poetics is suspended between the figurative and the abstract, between pop and metaphysics, where the representation of nature and reality is filtered through sharp irony and existential depth.
His works, populated by imaginary landscapes, arcane signs and archetypal figures, are pictorial reflections on time, identity and human destiny. Present in numerous public and private collections, Pierluigi Pusole is not only one of the most admired figures on the contemporary Turin scene, but also a close friend of Stefano Rastrelli, with whom he shares an ongoing dialogue between art and visionary thought.

Io sono Dio (I Am God) - I.S.D. is a powerful work, suspended between revelation and simulacrum. Within a grid that fragments and multiplies the landscape, Pierluigi Pusole orchestrates a layered vision of the natural world: mountains, waterfalls, skies, trees - all elements that appear like faded memories or images rescued from dissolution.

The colours are fluid, watery, almost spiritual, yet marked by sudden contrasts: bright yellow, white lines joining points of light like artificial constellations, evoking a celestial cartography. Nature presents itself as a constructed dream, a system of signs alluding to a higher, almost mystical vision.

The title Io sono Dio (I Am God) is not a provocation but a statement that shifts meaning: the viewer is called to identify with the creator of the image, becoming the author of their own vision.

In this mental landscape, contemporary art becomes an instrument of revelation, where painting becomes an ontological experience, between humility and omnipotence, between silence and intuition.
