Ann Veronica Janssens is a Belgian artist internationally recognised for her research into space, perception and light. Since the 1990s, her practice has combined conceptual rigour with sensory power, giving rise to installations, sculptures and environments that question how we see, feel and breathe the space around us.
Through materials such as glass, mist, mirrors, coloured lights and reflective surfaces, Janssens creates visual experiences that are not confined to the object but involve the viewer's body.
